"PROXIMA" 95%

"PROXIMA" is shooted in 95%. I am very tired, but I am also very pleased because the result. If the shooted materials are good (and these are) then the usual is the edition and sound mixes improves the film. I think nobody has done a film like this never in Spain, so cheap and so great at the same time. It only remains finish it now, and the audience will decide if the film is good or bad. Anyway, the expectations are accomplished: "PROXIMA" is more ambitious and better than "FAQ".

In this photo I am close to the leading actor, Oriol Aubets, into the one of the world biggest open mines depths, where we were shooting few minutes before the gods' storm-shaped fury throws over us. During the filming we have been victims and spectators of several unprecedented atmospheric phenomenons, which have provided our cinematographic adventure with epic air. Just as about "FAQ" filming it's is difficult to talk about anecdotes, "PROXIMA" filming is plentiful: accidents, calamities, surprises, all kind eventualities. But we have turned victorious, and now we have a feature-lenght movie on the hands, and a lot to tell.

"PROXIMA" está rodada en un 95 %. Estoy muy cansado, pero también muy contento por el resultado. Si el material rodado es bueno (y éste lo es) lo normal es que luego, con el montaje y las mezclas de sonido, una película mejore. Creo que nunca en España se ha hecho una película como ésta, tan barata y tan grande a un mismo tiempo. Ahora sólo queda acabarla y que el público decida si es buena o mala. En cualquier caso, las expectativas se han cumplido: "PROXIMA" es más ambiciosa y mejor que "FAQ".

En esta fotografía aparezco junto al protagonista, Oriol Aubets, en lo más profundo de una de las minas abiertas más grandes del mundo, donde estuvimos rodando minutos antes de que se precipitase sobre nosotros la furia de los dioses en forma de tormenta. Durante la filmación hemos sido víctimas y espectadores de otros fenómenos meteorológicos insólitos que han dotado a nuestra gesta cinematográfica de un aire épico. Así como del rodaje de "FAQ" apenas pueden contarse anécdotas, el rodaje de "PROXIMA" abunda en ellas: accidentes, calamidades, sorpresas, contingencias de todo tipo. Pero hemos salido victoriosos, y ahora tenemos un largometraje en las manos y mucho que contar.
